PV Supernode
Universal controller for photovoltaic installations
We are pleased to announce that the PV Supernode controller has been officially listed by PTPiREE, confirming its compliance with the requirements of the energy market!
The device performs monitoring and control functions related to the operation of the photovoltaic installation, as required by the connection conditions. The flexibility of PV Supernode’s operation guarantees efficient acceptance of PV installations by all national Distribution Grid Operators.
PV Supernode features
The device performs monitoring and control functions related to the operation of a photovoltaic installation, in accordance with the requirements specified in the grid connection conditions. The flexibility of the PV Supernode ensures efficient acceptance of PV installations by all national Distribution System Operators.
- Zero export / limited export – the controller cyclically retrieves data from an energy analyzer at the facility’s connection point while simultaneously controlling the active power generation of the inverters. It monitors, in real time, the export of active energy to the grid.
- Sitelogger PV (operator SCADA) – the controller monitors operation and controls the inverters within the installation. It directly cooperates with the telemechanics controller. It manages the active and reactive power of the installation according to commands received from the SCADA system used by the local Distribution System Operator.
- Auto-RDN – blocking the export of energy to the grid during negative pricing periods.
- Sitelogger PV (SCADA plus) – the controller provides detailed inverter data via the Modbus protocol to the client’s software.
- Reactive power guardian – the inverter compensates reactive power at the connection point to avoid charges for its consumption. This is particularly important in installations where a significant portion of active power is generated by the PV system, which substantially changes the amount of active power drawn from the grid and thus increases the power factor tangent (tan φ).
- Zero import – the controller cyclically retrieves data from an energy analyzer or meter at the facility’s connection point while simultaneously controlling the discharge process of the energy storage system, ensuring that the PV installation does not draw power from the grid for its own needs.
- Q at night – reactive power compensation during nighttime inverter operation (function available for inverters: Solis, Huawei, Sungrow, and the latest Sofar models).
